When Jerry Levin was CNN’s Middle East bureau chief living in Beirut, he was kidnapped and held hostage by the Hezbollah for almost a year. Yet when he was released, instead of being vindictive against his captors, Jerry decided to devote his life to giving voice to those silenced by foreign policies that often victimize the innocent. He had been around the world enough to know the "little ones" are the ones who suffer when the powerbrokers are trying to make points.
